Apps to Keep you Organized in the New Year

We all make those resolutions to stay organized, and most of us truly believe things will be different this year. And then the calendar changes, and our organization methods go down the drain the first time we get stressed or overwhelmed at work. This year, give yourself the business tools you need to stay on top of things like client meetings, backups, conferences, software updates, and maintenance for your devices & hardware. Here are a few apps that can help you achieve your resolution (finally) and sustain it all year.

Organize Your Passwords

Too many people keep their passwords on a sticky note at their desk, or use the same password for everything, thus opening themselves up to security threats. To organize this, try a password manager tool or something on your phone called “The Vault.” This is one potential way to store passwords, important documents, IDs, credit-card images, and more, on its secure, encrypted app.

Organized Your Appointments and Travel

Business is very mobile, and that means your calendar needs to be mobile as well. Try an app for your phone and look for one that can be used across all of your devices, both at home and work. Google Calendar is my favorite. It automatically detects events in your email and adds them to the schedule, with directions a tap away via Google Maps. Appointments and directions to those meetings will all be in one convenient location!

Organize Your Spending

Whether it is for personal use or business, finding applications that can help you keep your finances straight can be a miracle. Mint is a favorite, as it can manage your finances and break it down into helpful categories. It can send you alerts when you have unusual spending, or if you have exceeded the budget you input for a certain category.

Try some of these apps and let this be the year that you actually keep your resolution to get (and stay) organized at work and at home. Questions about the apps or need help setting up your business with organization protocols?  Call M&H Consulting at 1-866-964-8324 or visit our website.
